This Friday, Evening Prayer at 5pm in the Chapel will be celebrating the 60th Anniversay of the Coronation. Music and words will all be from the Coronation, including Handel's wonderful Zadok the Priest. The collection will be for one of the Queens charities, The Royal National Institute of the Blind. All are most welcome to attend.

Academic Scholarship News
Tremendous academic scholarship news this week: A King’s Scholarship to Eton and four out of four Academic Scholarships to Tonbridge, including a Knightley Award for Modern Foreign Languages. Very well done to all our successful scholars, pictured.
A Day in the Life of New Beacon
Choral Workshop and Concert
On Thursday 18th April the Middle School Chapel Choir joined forces with Hollingbourne Primary School Choir for a workshop and concert. Meeting at 1.30pm, they had just 2 hours to learn 4 pieces of music and perform them in chapel in front of family and friends. This they did extremely well, having worked hard throughout the workshop. The afternoon finished with tea for all! A great afternoon of music making!

The Rededication of St George's Chapel on the occasion of its centenary.
We were privileged to welcome the Bishop of Rochester on Friday 16th November.
Bishop James attended two services with the younger boys and answered questions about his ‘job’! At 5pm he attended the Senior School service, blessing the restored altar frontal and new organ.
The main purpose of his visit was to celebrate the centenary of St George’s Chapel and he spoke powerfully of the bricks, beams and mortar of the building which had seen so many boys pass through; boys who had the power to change the world for the better.
